General Description

Netweaver Administrator is responsible for the installation, technical administration, tuning, and monitoring of the SAP Environment while supporting both the business and IT functional teams. SAP environment comprises of worldwide enterprise instance running ECC (SD, MM, FICO, PS, PM, and HR), SCM, SRM, BI, PI, and EP. Enterprise database is Microsoft SQL Server and operation system is Microsoft Windows Server. This position’s primary focus is ABAP based SAP ECC, SRM, SCM, and Solution Manager systems

Essential Functions

This position’s primary focus is to provide technical Netweaver support to ABAP based SAP ECC, SRM, SCM, and Solution Manager systems. Job duties include maintaining the software functionality, and applying SAP application specific system patches and system upgrades when necessary. The SAP system will be available to the customers on a 24 x 7 schedule and does involve some after hours work for maintenance and system administrative support for the SAP functional teams.

- Problem determination and troubleshooting
- System performance and tuning
- Systems administration and operations
- Perform installation, upgrades, system copies and configuration of Netweaver application and components
- Knowledge of backup and recovery scenarios
- Knowledge of technical infrastructure and networking
- Applying SAP maintenance for ABAP and Java applications
